职位描述

Your tasks:
As the Head of Sales & Marketing China, you will assume an executive position and be responsible for all sales and marketing affairs. This not only includes the management of the local sales team according to the strategic requirements of the VON ARDENNE management board, but also the revenue generation by VON ARDENNE coating systems according to certain forecasts and growth plans. You will be responsible for the development and the substantial orientation of the sales structure in China. Beyond that, you will identify appropriate sales partners and prepare agreements with sales agents together with the Regional Manager.

One of your main tasks will be to boost the sales of VON ARDENNE coating systems in China and to adapt the product portfolio to the domestic market situation. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the correct handling of personnel matters within the sales team. In coordination with the General Manager of VON ARDENNE VACUUM EQUIPMENT (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., and the German headquarters, you will manage the professional development of your employees. You will improve and standardize important reporting processes. You are also responsible for communicating the results and comparative figures gained from these reporting processes.

As the Head of Sales & Marketing China, you will be the main contact person for the VON ARDENNE headquarters and the counterpart to other subsidiaries within VON ARDENNE´s international sales network regarding sales and marketing affairs in the China region. You will work closely together with the Regional Manager and the Sales Directors at the headquarters. You will report to the General Manager of VON ARDENNE VACUUM EQUIPMENT (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and the Head of Sales & Marketing at the headquarters.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Head of Sales & Marketing will support all sales and marketing activities of VON ARDENNE regarding products, applications and for new markets in China.

You have to identify and promote strategic alliances with industry leaders and key customers.
As Head of Sales & Marketing You will represent VON ARDENNE and its corporate values at the customer’s site and at conferences and exhibitions.

You have to assist sales staff members and sales representatives in winning new equipment contracts by active support and ensure the implementation of strategic goals through the internal and external sales structure.

We expect that you actively cultivate relationships with the local sales agents and establishing a clear leadership over the agency network in China to ensure that the expected sales results are achieved.

The Head of Sales & Marketing will develop 3-5 year business plans for VON ARDENNE in China.

You will take care of regular sales meetings and training sessions for the internal and external sales organization in China together with the Regional Manager. It will be required to travel domestically and internationally up to 60 % of the time, overnight if required.

As Head of Sales & Marketing You will develop strategies and supervise their implementation and will contribute to the further development of the company in accordance with the requirements of VON ARDENNE.

Your qualifications and skills:
You have a bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or related fields. You have worked as a successful sales expert in plasma technology, vacuum coating or related technologies/applications for at least ten years and you are familiar with working in an international organization dealing with industrial goods. Furthermore, you have very good management skills and take care to constantly show good work ethics.

You are a good team player with excellent communication and a self-confident manner. You will work at the interface between our customers’ management and the VON ARDENNE Head of Sales & Marketing, Regional Manager, Sales Directors, Product Managers, Business Development Managers and sales engineers at other VON ARDENNE locations.

This position requires excellent analytical and strategic planning skills and comprehensive knowledge of sales processes. You should be familiar with the technology roadmaps of key industries, like architectural glass, electro chromic glass, photovoltaics, display manufacturing, battery and OLED.

A strong preference for strategic thinking completes your profile. Beyond that, a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese is mandatory for the position.
