Summary

Fluent in Mandarin, English, the Product Line Manager is responsible for product definition, Product roadmap, competitor gap analysis, managing product development, life cycles, marketing and packaging of products related to the inverter, smart charger, Powerpack and jump starter, LED light and Cooler/Warmer product line. Additionally, Product line manager should have strong technical background to understanding the technology of the current product and going forwards.

Main Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technology competence, market application knowledge, marketing leadership, strong business acumen, and effective interpersonal skills
• Develop and implement effective product line and marketing strategies and product development roadmaps to increase market share and grow into new markets/customers. Maintain an active focus and interface with market "drivers" (technologies and end user needs) staying on top of trends that will result in a continuous proactive market-driven approach
• Take care of the healthiness of the assigned product line (i.e. sku rationalization/obsolescence, price positioning and profit analysis, sku system maintenance).
• Clearly identify the product features and requirement based on customers/market requirement.
• Lead project development process. Must have the ability to develop strong team relationships with cross functional New Product Development team
• Develop and implement product launch activities, including product positioning, marketing materials, pricing, packaging, user manual, launch budgets, web site content, application notes etc
• Effectively communicating product features and benefits to target audience
• Manage the maintenance of competitive intelligence database. Complete related market and competition analysis reports as required.
• Manage the development and implementation of marketing communication programs supporting the marketing strategy for the product line. These programs include, but are not limited to, media advertisements, press release, and trade shows, etc.
• Travel as required to meet with customers, demonstrate products, set up beta sites, work at trade shows/conferences and stay in tune with the market

Desired Skills & Experience

Minimum Requirements: Education & Experience

• A marketing, engineering, industrial design Degree from a recognized educational institution
• 4+ years business experience, with 2+ years Product Management experience in the electronic accessory, aftermarket product in Auto industry or related industry

Minimum Requirements: Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills in English, and Mandarin Experience in developing marketing/business strategies, plans and programs with specific experience in:

product development, project management, business case development, and cross functional interactions

• Well-developed strategic thinking, problem solving, decision-making skills with an ability to analyze complex concepts and draw implications
• Excellent communication skills that facilitate working with a variety of teams throughout the product lifecycle
• Demonstrated success in translating customer requirements into new product offerings
• Proactive work style: takes initiative to improve products, proactively communicates with teams, follows up on issues, and brings deliverables to completion
• Excellent prioritization, organization, and time management skills
• Demonstrated success in defining and launching commercially successful products
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
