Qualified candidates will work with enterprise customers to shorten the sales cycle by overcoming technical hurdles within specified accounts.
The R&D Engineer must demonstrate Linux expertise on "shell scripting", "basic linux system administration", "general shell commands",
and working both independently and within a team. They must also be able to communicate complicated technical material in a stressful yet results oriented environment.
This position will be worked closely with partner sales and cover China as a territory. It will require frequently travel throughout the region.
Job Responsibilities
Working with Sales Engineers to solve technical hurdles, and enhance product compatibility
Adding customization function together with American colleagues
Performing technical product demonstrations at customer's facilities during sales and/or proof of concept initiatives
Interfacing between Chinese sales team and American R&D team in a technical level
Job Skills
3+ years of linux experience in a Vendor, Professional Services, IT Consulting, Systems Integration
1+ years, technical pre-sales experience, or technical business related experience
Professional linux and shell scripting knowledge
basic windows and WSH scripting knowledge
Self-starter that manages time and activities with little day-to-day guidance or interaction from management
Excellent listening skills resulting in a high level of customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
linux experience (LPI or RHCE a plus)
Citirix XenApp and Xendesktop experience (CCA a plus)
