Responsibility:
1.Meet and orexceed annual materials cost reduction and competency expectation.
2.Develop cost model of buying module components commodity, including understaning of "potentional", "ideal" price.
3.Develop purchasing strategies for assigned commodity to achieve ideal price and meet cost savings target.
4.Manage the purchasing pipeline, develop timely purchasing actions in support of current and new project and meet cost.
5.Review technical assumption and exceptions, tolerance verification and timing plan, support to review CV/PV test plan.
6.Discuss to optimize design and process with supplier.
7.Review commercial assumptions, incentives, exceptions or clarifications, and finance risk. Resolve and arbitrate on special supplier situations which could not be settled by other job functions.
8.Special assignments.

Experience Needed:
1.Universigh bachelor degree of engineering (mechanical engineering is preferred)
2.Min 3 years experience as a casting / forging or other module components comodity buyer in an industrial environment.
3.Good negotiation skills and able to lead team negotiation as well.
4.Ability to work in a matrixed organization
5.International mind set, overseas experience
6.Bi/multi-lingual, English is a must.
