The role is to design new filtration elements and to monitor quality and production of in-production models

Supervisor

International Technical Director

Responsibilities

· Maintain competitive database including samples of important products

· Establish filter element specifications through a thorough understanding of customer and application requirements and competitive products

· Complete detailed design of elements including drawings and material specifications

· Manage product development including production scale-up up until formal hand-over to production departments

· Establish and maintain product development and scale-up plans for each new product

· Together with production departments, develop new production processes where necessary to fabricate new or existing elements

· Develop new filtration media (in-house or third-party) as necessary to meet product needs

· Manage filtration test laboratory including development and implementation of written procedures for all equipment

· Maintain thorough, detailed knowledge of filtration media market and develop relationships with suppliers as needed

· Assist sales departments as necessary

· Report monthly on progress of each project

Experience

3-5 years in similar position in the filtration industry

Education

BS in Engineering
MS desirable
