Responsibilities:
Be an evangelist for good SEO practices within the company; try to integrate good SEO practices on all projects that affect the websites. Keep pace with the changes in SEO industry and assist with maintaining the SEO roadmap for the company.
Write detailed SEO specifications and test plans for all new web-facing projects. Where possible, directly implement these recommendations. Where needed, write detailed specifications for Technology implementation.
Manages and defines SEO forecasts, monitoring, and detailed reporting on search engine KPI’s and their impact on defined business goals 
Manages vendor relationships relating to SEO-specific projects 
Work with and lead a team of SEO Specialists and Project Coordinator to find optimization opportunities in the website architecture, taxonomy, product content, localization and other related areas. Lead cross-functional education and process to ensure SEO optimized practices are followed, and create a process to do so.
Responsible for staffing the SEO department by searching for prospective candidates and conducting interviews when needed

Requirements:

BA or BS undergraduate degree
3+ year of SEO experience with management experience leading teams
The ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team of SEO specialists
Advanced knowledge of SEO guidelines, analysis, tracking/reporting tools, algorithms, ranking factors
Knowledge of web design and technology principles and their SEO implications
Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively, manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with a sense of urgency.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal in English
Ability to quickly adjust priorities to respond to pressing demands
Effective troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Excellent analytics skills
Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Google Analytics and Google/Bing Webmaster Tools
Google AdWords Keyword Tool
Knowledge and experience with Content Management Systems
