And, we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--breaking the rules, redefining the medium, making the user the hero, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.
The role: Marketing Manager
As a Marketing Manager, you will step into a marketing position where you are challenged to think beyond the obvious, creating and executing cutting-edge marketing programs for one of the world’s most recognized brands in a complex market environment. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing the Google brand. You will develop qualitative insights and resulting programs to strengthen and protect Google's brand through creative and engaging campaigns. Marketing Manager will work closely with China and the regional marketing team in brand management, cross-product program development to ensure that we have consistent branding plans and initiatives. You will work closely with the Product, Engineering, Business Development, Developer Advocates, PR, GR and legal teams to shape the go-to-market strategy and execute on that strategy for key strategic initiatives.


Responsibilities:
Understand our users, their needs and work with the team to develop innovative brand strategies and plans. Drive growth of key Google consumer products by connecting users with the “magic”.
Develop and drive creative programs that strengthen and grow Google as a brand and also enlighten our customers and partners.
Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams, regional marketing counterparts, product and executive stakeholders, along with external partners for co-marketing opportunities.


Minimum qualifications:
BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience).


Preferred qualifications:
Great communication skills, team spirit, and a can-do attitude.
Superior business sense, problem solving, project management and analytical skills.
Proven track record of results, demonstrated accountability for achieving individual and shared goals.
