Key duties and responsibilities:
Examples of key duties are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature.
A. Asia Pacific Area
( China HongKong, China Taiwan and China)
Financial Reporting
1 Analyse and prepare financial reports to ensure timely & accurate financial reports including uploading the financial information to AARO system.
2 Circulate to the stakeholders including country managers of the sales companies, the approved monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual management reports
Internal Control System
1 Co﹐rdinate internal and external audits in the region
2 Respond and follow up & implement audit recommendations (if any).
3 Develop an updated schedule of audit implementation progress matrix on a quarterly basis to track audit recommendations implementation progress (if any).
4 Review of payments before cheques and transfers are processed to ensure compliance to company policies
5 Review the banks reconciliations, cash and petty cashbooks
6 Review balance sheet and income statement schedule for audit purchases.
7 Review the fixed assets register and ensure it is updated on regular basis
Forecast and Budgets
1 Provide assistance to the Regional Financial Controller in the preparation of the detailed budgets
2 Upload the approved budgets into the AARO system.
Treasury Management
1 In-charge of Opus Captia cash flow reporting to headquarter
B. Shanghai HUB and Sales Company: China
Accounting:
1 Review and analyse the financial reports provided by local accountant.
2 Responsible for intercompany balance and transaction between related companies including incoming and outgoing payment.
3 Prepare timely and accurate statutory and financial reporting including cash-flow forecast for Shanghai HUB.
4 Oversee stocktaking and reconciling stock take result
5 Dealing with all tax related issues and tax authority queries
6 Liaison with bank and auditors (internal and external)
7 Administer internal control policies and procedures in compliance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements
Administrative:
1 Responsible for daily human resource and administrative functions
2 Manage stock of office materials e.g. stationary and pantry supplies and replenish when necessary
3 Liaison with external vendors e.g. insurance and corporate secretarial
4 Assist in payroll and leave administration
5 In-charge of on-boarding of new employees and discharge clearance of existing staff
6 Prepare staff claims and reimbursements
7 Assist ARC in tracking staff performance to target
8 Ensure proper filing and maintaining of documents including agreements and contracts

1 Any ad hoc request from Regional Financial Controller
