Purpose of position:
Coordinate the development and implementation of production toolings, machines and other means of production with the goal of enabling the manufacture of new products according to the company`s budget with the adequate productivity and quality to ensure the customer requirements and also with competitive costs compared to competitors, sharing his technological knowledge with other plants of the Magneti Marelli group
Responsibilities
1. Coordinate the generation and update of the documentation of manufacturing processes that will be used by the workers during the manufacturing of products;
2. Ensure with the technical Chinese team the stability of current manufacturing processes and improve them through the analysis of the capability rates, production costs as well as quality indicators;
3. Supervise the elaboration of technical / economical feasibility studies and also the estimates of investments in manufacturing processes to subsidize the price calculation of new products;
4. Coordinate the development (preliminary studies, specifications, purchase orders, and follow-ups, tryouts and start ups) of new machinery, toolings and other manufacturing auxiliary elements in order to enable the production of new products according to market needs and / or improve plant productivity according to the guidelines of the organization's strategic planning;
5. Promote the transference of technology (know-how) to other units of the group to ensure the company's competitiveness, the development timeline and quality level agreed with customers;
6. Provide technical support to the production, with the aim of ensuring the delivery deadlines and quality agreed with customers.

Qualifications:
? Mechanical or Mechatronical Engineering Degree and Post Graduated in Business Administration;
? Previous Experience in shock absorber manufacturing (minimum 2 years);
? Specific Knowledge of the greatest of the following process:
painting line process, assembly lines, tube cutting machines, resistance and arc weldings, pressing, machining, heat treatment, grinding chromium plating and stamping;
? General knowledge of the main phases of the product development, TS certifications/standards and quality tools, Lean Production (World Class Manufacturing), time and motion studies, tooling,device and poka yoke designs, specification and purchasing of machines, standards and Chinese safety regulations, investment control, capacity and demand management and car suspension components (shock absorbers, control arms, front and rear axles etc.).
? Good communication skills in both spoken and written English and Chinese
