Blizzard Entertainment is seeking an experienced Linux administrator to join a team of network and system infrastructure. The team goal is to maintain and optimize Linux/Unix servers in large scale. The candidate should be a dedicated problem solver who can multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

Responsibilities
- Work on the projects and assignments from a supervisor as well as be able to work independently
- Administer a complex site (IDC) alone or assist in the administration of a larger site.
- Handle the technical tickets and cases on the daily basis.
- Participate in the scheduled system maintenances.
- Share in off-hour/on-call duties.

Requirements
- Fluency in English and a degree in computer science or a related field
- 4-6 years of Linux system administration experience with an emphasis in managing customer facing applications and services.
- Good understanding of a Linux-based operating system, including system installation and configuration, file system concepts, resource monitoring, user administration, kernel tuning, package management, and process control/management
- Good understanding of Linux- network services--specifically, the ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot TCP/IP-based services such as DHCP, DNS, SMTP, NFS, Puppet, RabbitMQ and LDAP, HTTPD(Apache/Tomcat)
- Hands-on experience with large-scale hardware deployment, installation and troubleshooting, especially on IBM and HP blade systems
- Ability to write scripts in an administrative language (Perl, Python or shell)
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows, user administration, networking, active directory.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong will to take the initiatives and learn new technologies

Pluses
- Knowledge of SAN, Storage, backup technology, HP-UX will be good pluses
- Work experience in multinational companies is preferred.
- Passion in gaming industry
