Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a pricing database analyst to manage the day-to-day pricing and promotional calendar of Blizzard’s Asia Pacific region for Heroes of the Storm. This position will require coordination with regional offices, Irvine HQ, and the Heroes of the Storm development team to ensure prices are updated accordingly. The pricing database analyst will manage regional pricing templates and analyze the impact of FX rates. In addition, the successful candidate will ensure that regional storefronts correctly reflect updated prices. The position will directly report to the Asia Marketing VP and will be dotted line to the monetization manager located at Irvine HQ.

Responsibilities

? Manage Promotional Management Tool (PMT):

o Maintain and update regional pricing promotion calendars for each country in Asia.

o Update pricing in PMT as required while coordinating approvals with either Asia HQ, and / or Irvine HQ.

o Coordinate pricing updates with new content releases by partnering with live operations, marketing, community, and regional teams.

o Work with live operations to ensure proper QA and testing of any non-standard promotions.

· Optimize and maximize live publishing / promotional activities by conducting the following:

o Work closely with marketing, business intelligence, and Irvine HQ to analyze results.

o Develop benchmarks to predict and measure the success of price promotions and offers.

o Work closely with country managers to understand how local efforts and development events may have impacted promotions.

o Update Asia HQ and Irvine HQ on a weekly basis regarding the effects of pricing promotions.

Requirements

· A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the video game, mobile content, social media, consumer software, or digital entertainment industries

· Experience managing databases and coordinating with regional offices

· Extreme attention to detail

· Significant knowledge of Blizzard Entertainment’s products and intellectual properties

· Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (economics, engineering, mathematics, etc.)
