Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a passionate, experienced and multi-bilingual (English, Korean, and Mandarin) regional recruiter with strong sourcing and account management skills.

The ideal candidate will have extensive professional experience recruiting game industry, entertainment, and online technologies professionals. The recruiter will be responsible for sourcing candidates and managing job openings across multiple disciplines, including: marketing, community, PR, engineering, platform services, etc. for all the countries in APAC. This candidate will need to be able to proactively source passive candidates, facilitate the interview and candidate selection process, and ensure an excellent candidate experience. Based in our Shanghai office in China, this person will directly report to HR director, Greater China and dotted line to global recruiting manager in our headquarters in Irvine, California.

Responsibilities

? Work closely with hiring managers of each country across the region to define and qualify position requirements, generate and post job descriptions, and implement proactive recruitment strategies.
? Develop and implement recruiting strategies to build a proactive pipeline of talents.
? Understand the market conditions for targeted sources and prepare distinct and effective recruiting approaches to leverage specific market trends and talent pools.
? Refine and manage consistent recruiting, interviewing, and hiring processes which support a highly positive candidate experience and recruiter / hiring manager efficiencies.
? Ensure that the recruiting process, interviews, and documentation are in compliance with Blizzard requirement in each country in the region.
? Provide innovative, scalable solutions to drive our hiring to meet the needs of the business while building excellent relationships with the hiring managers across the organization.
? Work with the global recruiting team on innovative sourcing strategies through the modification and utilization of internal mobility, employee referrals, internships, and new graduate hiring.
? Whenever possible and allowed, adopt recruitment initiatives including employment branding, social media and networking, employee referrals, and the proactive sourcing of passive candidates.
? Create communication plans for engaging various groups within Blizzard APAC on the status of recruitment, and changes to the market.

Requirements

? Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field
? A minimum of 5 years’ hands-on recruiting experience of roles in multiple disciplines including, marketing, community, PR, engineering, platform services, supporting function, etc. preferably in-house at a video game, creative entertainment, or high-tech company
? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with culture difference awareness
? Fluent in written and spoken English, Chinese and Korean
? Able to maintain a strict code of confidentiality, and discretion
? Effective multi-tasking and time management skills
? Excellent planning, prioritization, and organizational skills
? Creativity in problem-solving, resourcefulness, ability to be detail-oriented
? Strong business acumen, analytical and negotiation skills, and excellent process orientation
? Highly polished, professional demeanor
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Pluses

? Broad knowledge of compensation and general human resources practices, as well as local country’s labour law
? Previous experience on a similar regional role
? Passion for video gaming, especially Blizzard games
? Knowledge of major players in the video game, web / online, mobile, creative entertainment, and related industries
? Experience using Taleo
