Job Description:
- As a channel sales manager, you will join a highly motivated Sales Development, leading channel partners, playing as customer business and engineering team leader working directly with Tier 2 & 3 enterprise Data Center and enterprise storage/server customer to optimize PMC’s industry-leading RAID/HBA/SSD products for Cloud applications and storage controller products in storage server hardware system deployments. Reporting into our channel sales organization in China and working directly with our engineering team, your capabilities and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
--- Management Channel Distributors and Master Resellers to promotion and selling PMC /Adaptec RAID/HBA/SSD Products
---Strong Sales and Channel sales experience in storage/server industry
---Have the ability to lead partner Sales/FAE/PM team in channel cooperating with enterprise storage/server customers and Tier 2&3 enterprise Data Center customers
---Have the ability be playing the technical leader role at customer side
---Understanding enterprise Data Center applications, ROI and business models, in order to value or create potential opportunities using unconventional approaches
---Have the ability to discuss end user applications in the end user “framework”; technology, business model, deployment and ROI
---Be able to perform detailed benchmark analysis of customer applications, where available, or to construct models of customer applications and to benchmark
--- Deep knowledge in Windows and Linux OS
---Understand SDK and management tools, their functions and restrictions
---Perform leading field debugging on solutions deployed at either end user, or partner locations
---Execute QA test benchmark applications, analyzing performance results, reviewing operating system and controller log output, determining I/O bottlenecks, and recommending performance enhancements in driver and firmware layers
---Position requires travel and working on-site with customers


Qualifications:
---MS/BSEE or MS/BS Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
---4+ years of professional sales and channel sales experience in storage/server industry
---Demonstrated understanding of hardware/software interface issues and understanding of hardware system designs
---Experience with full storage/server hardware & software lifecycle: specification, design, implementation, integration, debug, QA cycles and maintenance
---Familiar with a structured professional coding environment: understand how to participating in code review, following standard revision control, bug tracking, and release practices
---Excellent communication, presentation and documentation skills in both Chinese and English
---Excellent leading program and problem-solving skills
---Experience in Windows and Linux

Desirable Qualifications:
---Experience in storage protocol and device driver development including SCSI/SAS/SATA/RAID/HBA, and enclosure management
---Knowledge of Windows and Linux files systems
---Experience in use of protocol analyzers: PCIe/SAS
---Experience with storage/server architecture, modules and devices
---Experience in application programming
---Experience in Windows/Linux scripting
