Bronkhorst (Shanghai) Instrumentation Trading Co. Ltd (BHT-SH) has become operational in Shanghai, China in January 2013. In order to meet the needs of continuous business development in China market, Bronkhorst is looking for a capable candidate with the right potential in China for below position.
Sales Engineer
(Responsible for the whole China market and focus on Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Analytical, etc.)
Location: Shanghai
Reporting directly to: Sales Manager Based in Shanghai
Role Description
· He / She will combine the technical knowledge with sales skills to provide customer proposal, establish customer rapport and acquire business. He / She will also be responsible for generate customer awareness, support service activities at customer site, support distributor sales activities in assigned area, industry or account.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
· Searching for new customer who might benefit from company products or service
· Meeting with customers over the phone, email, or on-site visit
· Making presentation and demonstration on how product meet customer needs
· Generating and negotiating sales proposals and commercial contracts to meet both customer and company needs
· Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education, and after-sales support services with service engineers
· Developing long-term relationship with customer through managing and interpreting their requirements
· Maintaining records and reporting of customer communication, sales activities and customer situation
· Supporting marketing activities, e.g., attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
· Developing sales and marketing support materials, and sales solution for specific technical application
Qualifications
· Over five years’ work experience ideally in lab equipment, analytical instrument, process machinery, semiconductor or electronics equipment and sub-system industry
· At least two years successful experience in customer development and technical sales role
· Relevant market experience and application knowledge with Mass Flow Controller will be advantage
· Strong technique learning capabilities and communication skills
· Willingness to undertake frequent domestic and overseas travelling (>60%)
· Capabilities for conduct customer prospecting, cold calls, deal closing, and on-site commissioning support and training if required
· Bachelor degree in engineering, principle or/and experience in process instrument, automation, fluid control will be assets
