Job Description:
Under direction, refers to arranging the movement of products or resources from the supplier to the client or other point of destination.
Scope:
This position is involved with logistics throughout the many phases. This process includes acquisition of materials, scheduling physical movement of materials from supplier to destination, overseeing operation of shipping depots and storage facilities, monitoring all in-transit tracking methods, supervising all personnel involved in the shipping process and reconciling and reporting all related activities to appropriate parties.
Key duties & responsibilities:
1. Receiving customer orders, commit the date of offshore shipment.
2. According to the shipment plan, run the MRP; monitor the material shortage report to management.
3. Liaise with suppliers for purchase orders and production/shipping plans.
4. Work with our manufacturing team & quality team to track incoming scrap and returns/claims to related parties
5. Order transaction administration in MRP/ERP system; involve work scheduling and production capacity planning, and confirm with each department head in the daily meeting.
6. Confirm the shipping mode, Contact with forwarder for shipping arrangement, Book the truck/vehicle/feeder/vessel; (freight by air/sea/truck/express)
7. Prepare the shipping and custom declaration documents, apply to Custom/CIQ; track and trace the shipment & custom
8. Consolidate and present relative bill of shipment to Finance dept and apply for payment.
9.Be responsible for the Data Input.
