General Responsibilities:

· The overall job of the Senior Electrical Engineer is one of creation and innovation that leads to the development and introduction of new products/processes. The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for project management, electrical and software engineering. This position requires a strong technical background with leadership capabilities and reports to the Engineering Director under the technical guidance of the Chief Engineer.

Specific Responsibilities:

· Project Management:

？ Manages new product development teams

？ Generates project plans to include tasks, duration, resource requirements and costing

？ Helps develop and improve the Product Development and Introduction (PDI) process

· Electrical Engineering:

？ Performs electrical simulations for digital, analog, mixed signal and systems level designs

？ Develops product requirements, specifications and qualification test plans for both new and derivative products

？ Designs, tests and documents both new and derivative products

？ Designs incorporate best practices for manufacturability, reliability and compliance/safety standards

· Software Engineering:

？ Technical lead of embedded software development, concept/design/development of real-time embedded software

？ Develops product requirements, specifications and qualification test plans for both new and derivative products

？ Develop test software for hardware diagnostics and debugging, and provides effective leadership to development teams

？ Helps develop and improve the software quality assurance process

· Other:

？ Supervises and prepares tasks for support personnel as required

？ Assures compliance with company standard procedures and policies

？ Stays informed about applicable new rules, regulations and standards

？ Develops and writes specifications for component/systems, products and processes

？ Prepares progress reports on projects

？ Performs other duties and responsibilities as required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

· Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

· Minimum of ten years as an electronics/software design and project engineer

· Flow measurement instrumentation experience strongly desired

· Knowledge of ECAD/ECAE design and simulation software (Innoveda, Matlab and Simulink tools skills a plus)

· Must be proficient in software coding C, C++, assembly language for embedded software applications, and RTOS integration

· Familiarity with cross development of embedded software for real-time applications

· Excellent communication, project management and leadership skills are essential
