Job Purpose:
Senior Learning and Development Officer of ACCA Shanghai is responsible for keeping relationship with ACCA key stakeholders: partner universities, students and ALP, and providing total value proposition.
The position plays an active role in the team to generate more student intake through existing partners relationship, improve the conversion and retain/engage students. He/she needs to work with line manager to organise TTT or networking events for partner universities, career development events for students, bridge ALP to universities, where tuition support is needed. He/she will support line manager to identify any potential opportunities for ACCA to further develop in universities.
Key Responsibilities
To support line manager to implement business plan of Learning and Development team.
To support line manager to offer total value proposition to partner universities, including TTT, overseas study, internship for students, networking events to improve students employability.
To keep close relationship with partner universities and initiate new support and service to partner universities
To encourage partner universities to expand ACCA bound class size, open part time course or open ACCA bound class for double major students
To seek intelligence of competitors development in partner universities
To conduct promotion talks at ACCA partner universities to attract more students to join ACCA class
To arrange career talks with senior members as guest speakers for partner universities and extend mentorship to more partner universities in 2nd tier cities
To work with ALPs to offer free tasting course for students to increase pass rate
To engage students via social media platform and initiate social media campaign for students
To assist manager to organise prize awarding ceremony once a year;
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
(outline the educational requirements of the job, the behavioural or technical skills required to carry out the job effectively and the type of experience that is needed to be able to perform effectively in the role. Experience should not be written as number of years but should explain the exact nature of the experience that would determine success, (e.g. significant experience of having line managed sizeable teams through organisational change).
Bachelor degree or above
2-3 years working experience in business development or customer service with orientation of sales preferred;
Previous working experience in education, training, conference, exhibition or consultation is preferred;
Positive and lively work attitude required;
Excellent presentation skills, previous experience in public presentation is plus
Good communication skills with all levels
Good verbal and written English.
