职位描述
Responsibilities:
· Trend Understanding and Forecast:
- Good Understanding and experience in marketing trends of domestic and global food and drink categories, especially dairy products.
- Generate insight briefings and presentations on important and emerging trends which will alert senior management and other internal departments.
· Product Portfolio Set-up:
- Set up a methodology to organize our existing product into a systematic product portfolio, to show a clear picture of our current product positioning and shortages, to have a future marketing and product plan.
- Keep an eye on our competitors’ product portfolio and setup a database, update if necessary.
- An overall study of key dairy market, such as Japan, Korea, North America, Europe, etc.
· Concepts & Ideas Collecting for NPD
- Monitor the market dynamics, use skillfully the database of those Consultant Agencies such as Mintel or Euromonitor, extract valuable information and share with the internal team.
- Source inspiring imported market samples as well as newly-launched products by our domestic competitors or other food manufacturers. Set up a benchmark if necessary
- Internal brainstorming with R&D team and Sales team to bring out new concept on the basis of practical marketing study.
- Organize supplier (ingredients or equipment, etc) to join in our workshop for innovative product development.
- Attend related exhibitions or seminars and share new trends, new ingredients or new technologies.
- Consumer research: study on consumer behavior and purchasing motive, find out the gap between consumer requirement and product claims,
- Based on the above activities, come up with practical suggestions for new product launch or existing product upgrading,
Requirement:
· Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Business, Food or related subjects.
· At least 5 years solid marketing and or new product development experience in Food, Dairy or Food Ingredients, Consultancy Agencies, Advertising Agencies or Research Agencies.
· Creative, enthusiastic, self-motivate, strong communication and interpersonal skills, a good command of presentation skill preferred.
· Good skills of data analysis and reporting by computer
· With the ability to think out-of-the-box yet develop practical solutions
· Good written and oral communication in both mandarin and English, good computer literacy, especially Microsoft Office.
