The Assistant Controller will have wide exposure to all accounting aspects; he must have strong technical accounting skills as well as strong business acumen. The Assistant Controller will work closely with managing partner to oversee the internal finance, analysis of business performance and external reporting function including tax reports, financial reports and annual audit reports. An attractive candidate must have (i) a compelling desire to join an entrepreneurial firm; (ii) a “whatever it takes to get it done” mentality; (iii) the maturity to work with senior executives.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for internal finance and budgeting.
- Responsible for annual audit and external report.
- Manage accounting policies and procedures.
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger.
- Oversee the team to follow internal expense report system, account receivables/payables, balance sheet management, and cash reconciliations.
- Coordinate quarterly forecasts, annual operating plans and preparing reports that outline the company's financial position.
- Advise senior management on accounting and disclosure matters.
- Perform extensive financial DD and analysis of direct PE investment opportunities using sound financial modeling and IRR approach evaluation.

Academic Achievements
- Bachelor Degree from top universities in China or overseas with a strong GPA.
- CFA or CPA required, MBA or MS a plus.

Experience
- At least 3 years of work experiences at a big Four audit firm
