As an Analytics professional in the Customer and Enterprise Analytics Team, you will support leading financial services clients from around the world in achieving their expected return targets while managing risks, and complying with regulatory requirements in the most cost-effective manner. We have the breadth of Risk, Consumer and Enterprise Analytics experience, global resources, best-in-class analytical tools and frameworks and superior assets to help our clients become high-performing financial services businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
？ Responsible for delivering specific customer & enterprise analytics assignments, identified by the Essex team on the client site (including risk modeling, consumer analytics e.g. acquisition, account management, enterprise analytics e.g. fraud).
？ Example deliverables may involve model development, validation, governance, implementation, economic/regulatory capital calculation and end to end delivery of risk and customer management solutions for Essex’s clients
？ Deliver on statistical modeling across industry domains e.g. Credit Cards, Retail Banks, Healthcare, Insurance etc.
？ Lead junior analysts to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of specific workstreams (e.g. allocate the work, help them organize and manage their workload, provide personal feedback and training)
？ Provide support to management in business development, client proposals and in building strong relationships with Essex team focusing on client management
？ Support team initiatives to further develop Customer and Enterprise Analytics practice through activities like capability development, knowledge management, external research etc.
Requirements:
？ 5-6+ years of risk or customer analytics experience at one or more Financial Services organizations, with significant amount of project delivery skills in one or more of the following areas:
o Model Validation
o Risk Analytics for Commercial banking
o Risk Analytics for Capital Markets
o Marketing Analytics
？ Statistical modeling expert
？ Experience across different verticals in the risk or marketing analytics domain preferred
？ Experience in people management, client management, project management is preferred
？ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent English
Key Competencies:
1. Understanding of financial instruments and risk regulatory framework of one more of the major economies across globe (i.e. US, UK, EU, etc.).
2. Knowledge of key Basel II/ III principles, ICAAP, CCAR, etc. are highly preferred.
3. Proficiency required in one or more of analytical tools such as SAS, R, SQL, Excel/ VBA, Matlab, C++. Strong database skills preferred
4. Experience in extracting, aggregating and structuring large volumes of data along different dimensions
