The Role
The Certified Manufacturing and Supply Chain Black Belt will play a key leadership role in defining and implementing strategic footprint programs that generate revenue worldwide. Within multi-discipline and multi-country teams, the incumbent will assess the company's ability to best meet the needs of the marketplace, align resources, processes and projects, and deliver results .With your out-of-the-box thinking you tackle bottlenecks, eliminate waste and improve utilization of talent, technology and assets. As Black Belt you provide hands-on training and mentoring to transformation teams.

Key Performance Areas
Use Lean/Six Sigma strategies to lead divisional initiatives, cost reductions, and process improvement projects to increase customer satisfaction and the bottom line
Identify potential process improvement projects
Identify barriers to project success and solicit help from champions
Track project performance to assure timely completion and achievement of quality/savings goals
Serve as a change agent in institutionalizing Lean Six Sigma quality in conjunction with the Master Black Belts and Quality Champions
Develops strategy and sets functional policy and direction
Provide highly innovative solutions by routinely exercising independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives
Identify, communicate and leverage best practices across the organization, manage complex projects, and participate as a key member of project review teams
Provide hands-on training and mentoring to transformation teams, fully engaging employees and managers
Discover new perspectives, manage risks, transfer knowledge and obtain financial results
Bridge cultural differences and create an atmosphere that drives transparency, while maintaining compliance towards organizational standards

Your Profile
University degree in a technical or business field required
Black Belt certification with 8-12 years of progressive experience in an industrial environment, and at least 3 (three) years in a leadership role required
Strong project management skills with a consistent record of delivering robust project results and receiving excellent return on capital
Willing to challenge organization and leaders in a way that maintains trust and respect
Proven leadership skills and with the ability to influence and motivate team members
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of business relations, and maximize revenue and EBIT potential
Ability to work effectively with people on all levels
Team player with high energy and "can do" attitude
Outstanding communication and presentation skills; fluency in English required
Willing and able to fully dedicate to the role and travel extensively

This role will operate within an international team environment, leading strategic planning initiatives within China, Finland, South Africa, the United States and the Netherlands.
