Duties & Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be an Application Architect in web based application development, who has rich experience in leading technical direction in development project, managing development project and new technology researching.

1. Providing technical solution of web based applications or tools. Writing the key functions and reviewing code written by others in team. Manage the project schedule including internal and external resources.

2. Performing technical researching on new analysis products and related new technology. Estimate pros, cons and feasibility of new technology implementation. Should have cost control sense in mind.

3. Optimizing the technical architecture of professional online analytics applications. Keeping these applications in continuous creative retrofit.

4. Designing database architecture and maintenance process of market intelligence. Proposing alternative technical solutions of different cost level.

Candidate Specification:

1. Bachelor degree or higher in one of the following areas: Information technology, computer sciences or management information systems.

2. 6 - 10 years of related working experience.

3. Good understanding of web based technology architecture.

4. Expert in Javascript, JQuery, JSON, HTML and XML. (8+ years Exp prefered)

5. Expert in JAVA and Tomcat; (8+ years Exp prefered)

6. Experience in COBOL is a great plus

7. Expert in SQL server, SSAS; (8+ years Exp prefered)

8. Experience in ETL is a plus

9. Experience with VBA and Excel programming. (at least 3+ years Exp)

10.Good written and oral communication skills in Mandarin and in English, overseas exposure preferred.

11.Good interpersonal skill, strong sense of responsibility.

12.Experience in financial services industry is a plus, preferably with experience at top financial services companies, financial research firms, or related consulting firms.
