Job Description:
This senior-level CAD engineer is expected to support EDA tools methodology for circuit design team using Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics software packages.
Also to support design automation and customization, the senior CAD engineer is required to possess strong competency in programming languages such as SKILL, Tcl, perl, shell, etc. A strong IC design background and solid knowledge of analog and digital design and layout flow are necessary.
Roles and responsibilities include support and enhance EDA tools usages, provide day-to-day technical support to engineering community, and work closely with EDA software vendors to resolve tool bugs and drive new feature additions.

Job Requirements:
1. BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering
2. 5+ years of relevant experience
3. Proficient in main stream EDA tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics.
4. Hands on experience with scripting and software development utilities (C, Shell, Perl, SKILL, Tcl, etc.)
5. Hands on experience with Unix/Linux operating systems
6. Familiarity with revision control systems CVS, X-term VNC and cross platform file-sharing programs
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
8. Proficient English
9. Self-motivated, team oriented, and professional ethically
