This position will focus on Process Development and Equipment Engineering.

Prefer to see candidates with injection molding and general equipment maintenance experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by facilitating Equipment/Process Team to improve service level, machine efficiency, quality level and waste management.

2. Work with suppliers in regular maintenance program of heat sealers and Ovens.

3. Generate & implement cost reduction project involving equipment modification, BOM optimization and product re-engineering.

4. Investigate and analyze manufacturing problems relating to equipment, process and material; hence, work with suppliers for effective corrective action plan.

5. Identify opportunities for process automation, equipment enhancement and implement activities with suppliers to achieve goals.

6. Develop and document process specification in compliance to Quality System requirement.

7. Use of Design of Engineering Experiments for evaluation of process capability studies.

8. Support New Product Introduction program by developing new process and equipment design with suppliers;

9. Coordinate site preparation, machine acquisition and installation with supplier and cross functional team. Ensure successfully production startup at supplier facility.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Possess a University Degree in Mechanical / Electrical/ Automation/ manufacturing engineering.

2. 3 years relevant experience in manufacturing environment with understanding of equipment improvement concept.

3. Project management with vendor relationship management is preferred.

4. Work experience in medical disposable products or Hygiene disposable products is an advantage.

5. Familiarity with manufacturing processes management, knowledge of process development & control, material qualification and process validation.

6. Entrepreneurial mindset, highly motivated, result oriented and hands-on mentality.

7. Able to travel oversea in short notice.

8. Good communication skill in English, both verbal & written

Cardinal Health Medical Segment Shanghai Office was established in 2003 and managed by Singapore office. In Feb. 2012, it changed to WOFE as Cardinal Medical Equipment Consulting (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

We have two main businesses in China: global sourcing and convertors manufacturing.
