POSITION SUMMARY


HUSCO (International) provides individuals the opportunity to pursue a career within a fast-paced, industry leading and entrepreneurial organization. The Equipment Maintenance Engineer for Machining is responsible for technical support for large scale projects – typically, new product lines, maintenance in existing product lines. The key to success in this position is problem solving and utilizing technical knowledge to get to the root cause of a problem rather than simply identifying symptoms. A successful Equipment Maintenance Engineer for Machining is self-motivated and a natural trouble-shooter who is able to react quickly under pressure, prioritizes workload, and manages several tasks concurrently.



PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES


· Upgrade Material and Equipment. Work with advanced engineering and equipment suppliers to determine designs and configurations for new equipment and upgrades in conformance with company specifications and quality standards. Preparation of financial analysis for capital expenditures for tooling and equipment needed in support of existing product lines or processes. Monitor and control all phases of new equipment construction from design approval though implementation on factory floor and control equipment costs during this process.

· Keeps equipment running effectively. Perform debug/installation/maintenance and repair work to secure manufacturing equipment running with low downtime. Troubleshooting and problem solving for the equipments timely.

· TPM management. Implement preventive maintenance plan. Continuous improvement for the manufacturing equipments to meet long term production and quality needs.

· Champion for Safety. Safety focus is critical for the company. Responsible for continuous training/education initiatives with intent to eliminate recordable and /or lost time injuries. Also responsible for housekeeping in accordance with 5S principles.

· Manage Continuous Improvement Efforts. Develop and drive longer term initiatives and projects for continuous and step function improvement in key performance metrics related to safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and profitability.

· Maintain a Lean Manufacturing Culture. Use lean manufacturing techniques coupled with data driven decision making to drive 0 ppm customer reported quality, warranty and on-time delivery standards.

· Strong Team Player and Contributor. Able to work well with colleagues and produce results within a fast-paced and high pressure atmosphere. Combine strong attention to detail with an orientation towards results/execution.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

· Associates Degree in Machinery Manufacturing required.

· Minimum of 5 years experience working on equipment maintenance in manufacturing field.

· Proficiency of electric control, PLC control, FANUC CNC, mechanical adjustment, hydraulics assembly equipments.

· Working knowledge of TPM management.

· Effective problem solving, judgment, and independent thinking skills for troubleshooting, repair, and recognition of acceptable or unacceptable product quality.

· Able to handle frequent interruptions, work under higher pressure, and handle conflict in an effective manner.

· Experience with Microsoft Office products.
