职位描述

Market Co-ordinator

6 months Contractor


The role:

Provide operational and administrative support to the Director including the co-ordination of marketing and trade projects, administration and financial support and liaison with overseas client and the designated suppliers.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Contribute to the development and coordination of marketing activities

2. Work in conjunction with client overseas to ensure the timely coordination and delivery of marketing activities

3. Provide assistance directed by the Director

4. Work collaboratively with the Director and any relevant external/internal parties

5. Provide high-level administration and financial support including responsibility for reporting, financial and audit requirements

6. Coordinate administrative activities within the office, including, payment of accounts, collation of reports and liaison with various units

7. Manage the day-to-day functions of the office in the absence of the Director

8. Suggesting areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions

9. Foster a collaborative team spirit focused on service delivery to both internal and external clients

10. Promote teamwork and achievement of common purpose by encouraging all team members to share information and ideas.


Requirements:


1. Tertiary qualification in tourism, marketing or other relevant subject or equivalent experience or skills

2. Working knowledge and awareness of the structure and operation of the tourism industry from inbound tour operators, wholesale distribution through to retail operations

3. Sound knowledge and understanding of the of Australia tourism will be a plus

4. Broad knowledge of the special characteristics of the travel industry markets in China including understanding of culturally diverse issues relating to the location

5. Understanding of the structure and operations of the tourism industry at all levels

6. Sound knowledge of general office and administrative procedures

7. Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise work and meet tight deadlines

8. Good interpersonal and written communications skills

9. Excellent computer skills including an ability to use MS Office Suite

10. Demonstrated basic accounting skills

11. Fluency in English and relevant local language
