Tourist Guidebook Project Manager

3-months contract position

Areas of Responsibility:

· Understand client expectations on the deliverables organise and communicate the information to all parties concerned in the delivery of the project and manage client expectations.

· Develop project schedule with milestones, activities, resources allocation and deliverables.

· Ensure all parties concerned in the delivery of the project follow the project schedule, meet deadlines and clearly understand requirements on the quality of deliverables

· Content development/copywriting tasks evaluation and assignment

· Graphic design/layout tasks evaluation and assignment

· Implement quality assurance on the content, including the copywriting and graphic design, to meet client expectations.

· Coordinate between different parties in the making of the guidebook including tourism operators and the tourism authority in Australia, as well as the copywriting agency, graphic designers, IT supporting agency and potentially printers in China.

Required Experience and Skills:

· Good English language skills (speaking and writing) are essential

· One to two years of project management experience

· Excellent organisational skills

· Strong communication skills

· Outstanding problem-solving skills

· Ability to set priorities, offer flexibility, meet deadlines, and work independently

· Highly motivated, enjoys fast-paced environment

· Experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Job delivery

· Content development – Intensive coordination between tourism operators and tourism authority in Australia, as well as the translation agency and graphic designer in Shanghai for content development.

· Advertising – Intensive communication with tourism operators for prospecting, enquiries management, copywriting and artwork development.
