Responsible for providing 1st and 2nd level support to users and the effective provisioning, operation, maintenance, record keeping and ongoing support of the IT desktop environment including all PCs, notebooks, printers, scanner, copiers, telephones, end user devices and desktop applications, including network connectivity.

Safety ？ Assume responsibility for the safety management and safety performance of all activities under immediate control.
？ Maintain knowledge of and comply with current Corporate Safety Policy and Procedures. All activities follow safe work practices; any incidents reported and investigated.

Security Administration ？ Administer the regional backup system and restoration of data, as required.
？ Coordinate with the IT Operations & Shared Services groups to administer the complete lifecycle of user accounts (IS&T and Telephony)
？ Administer security of computing systems, including virus protection by applying corporate standards Timely rectification and communication of any backup issues.
Accuracy of all user accounts
Negligible business down time due to virus outbreaks and IT desktop environment security breaches.
IT Support
？ Develop and maintain good relations with relevant areas of the business and with the rest of IT.
？ Provide efficient and customer focused 1st and 2nd level support, troubleshooting and fault rectification of all desktop support incidents and problems raised.
？ Provision and decommission the IT desktop environment in line with business requirements and corporate technology architectures.
？ Implement and drive consistency of the company’s standard operating environment (SOE).
？ Refresh the IT desktop environment assets in line with company standards.
？ Provide timely and open communication with all areas of the IT Department to facilitate efficient incident and problem resolution.
？ Operate in line with the standards, policies and procedures for managing the desktop fleet lifecycle, globally.
？ Ensure regular communication to the users for all incidents and problems raised and ensure proactive communication to the business as appropriate during service outages. Performance and availability IT Desktop Environment.
Annual survey of customer satisfaction.
Timely provisioning, decommissioning and refreshing of the IT desktop environment in line with company standards
Feedback from end users on effectiveness and regularity of communications.

Asset Management ？ Procure all assets in line with set company processes.
？ Track all IT assets throughout the company including leasing, maintenance and warranty. Adherence to corporate procurement processes.

Qualifications:
Desirable:
Tertiary level qualifications in ITC or related field.
Relevant technical qualifications in desktop support
Experience:
Essential:
2 - 3 years experience in IT support.
Prepared to work outside normal hours when required and be on call out.
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Windows 7 and Office 2010.
Desirable:
IT Support Officer role in large corporate environment.
