Sales Executive - International Freight Forwarding & Logistics Sales

Innovative and dynamic International Freight Forwarding Company is seeking applications for the position of Sales Executive at our Shanghai office. The role involves consolidating and expanding our client base within shanghai and its environs. The Sales executive will be responsible for seeking, developing and driving sales to ensure growth of new business within both the Local and International corporate community. In order to do this, the SE will need to engage with local decision makers and communicate effectively employing a consultative sales approach aimed towards building long-term relationships. Sales calls and networking will be an important element of the job.

Required Skills:

· Minimum of 2 years sales/business development experience for either a major freight forwarding company or shipping line.

· Sales knowledge / experience in Liner (FCL, LCL, FAK,), cargo/services is a must, Break Bulk & Project cargo experience advantageous.

· Good track record, knowledge & experience of selling freight services on the Asia - Europe, Africa, America's, Australia/Oceania traffic lanes would be an advantage

· Self-motivated, results-driven with a good track record in export/import sales and new business development.

· Are a Chinese National.

· Able to effectively communicate and build relationships at local and corporate level and are self-confident in social and business networking environments.

· Must have excellent presentation skills.

· Persistent, detail oriented and organized

· Must be fluent in Mandarin (Shanghaies an advantage)

· Excellent spoken & written English.
