Sales Manager for Project “Bette”

German Industry and Commerce Greater China / Shanghai is part of the global network of German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHKs). We promote Sino-German business relations and support the business activities of companies both from Germany and China with a broad range of services.

Currently we are looking for a highly motivated individual who will support our international team.

Job target:

1. To plan and to carry out all agreed sales and marketing activities, so as to build up the Bette-brand in PRC East and to develop the sales of our entire product range as forecasted in the business plan.
2. To develop existing and acquire new customers in Eastern PRC as area sales manager for this region.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

1. Monitor the sales activities of our distributors and give them full support
2. Respond to and follow up all sales leads from either internal or external enquiries
3. Acquire new customers/distributors in the assigned area
4. Train the customers/distributors realising seminars
5. Increase the showroom presence (product displays) of the company in the assigned area
6. Work in very close contact with important target groups such as investors, developers, contractors, architects and hotel-groups to develop project business
7. Follow up all existing projects on a regular basis.
8. Suggest, organise and follow up marketing activities such as advertisements, seminars etc.
9. Plan and prioritise the sales activities. Check these activities on a regular basis and report to the Head of the company.
10. Plan and suggest the sales forecast for the following year and control the sales development for the current year
11. Attend local and international fairs, seminars etc. where reasonable.

Requirements / Skills:

Education: Economical or technical degree

Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years in the sanitary industry and/or experience selling high level/premium brands from Germany

Language skills: Mandarin (mother language), English (proficient level)
