Job Opening: Analytics Specialist / Senior Analytics Specialist

Responsibilities

Develop and deploy state-of-the-art, data-driven predictive models to solve business problems using state-of-the-art technologies in machine learning, statistical modeling and operations research.
Broadly exposed to multiple client problems, deliver value in the market place through consulting engagements, new product development and/or through research initiatives.
Experiment with alternative approaches. Understand the technology and explain to internal audiences and assist in communication with external audiences.
Work will require effective cooperation with other team members including analytics, software, business, and sometimes with clients.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess at least a Bachelor's or its equivalent in Math, Statistics, Engineering, Machine Learning, Physics, Econometrics or a related quantitative field;
Must possess classroom training and/or project work experience with: Perl, C, Python, C++ or Java;
Research or industry experience in analytical process and approaches for at least one class of applications;
Solid experience with UNIX;
Familiarity with statistical/analytical tools such as R, Matlab, or SAS;
Good communication and teamplayer;
Excellent English skills (oral &written).
