Service Workshop Manager
Reporting
The Service Workshop Manager reports directly to Aftermarket Manager.
Responsibilities
1. Follow and manage directives and procedures set out by Aftermarket Manager
2. Keep, activate and develop existing and new potential customer contacts
3. Develop product know how staff and own via training, courses, etc.
4. Determine with aftermarket manager and plant operation manager logistics, inventory / stock levels, lead times, replenish strategy and
5. Create and maintain a good work environment and atmosphere for staff under your responsibility
6. Registration, analyses and follow up of customer complaints
7. Responsible for inhouse repair
8. Management of the facility (workshop).
Tasks
？ Know, review and delegate daily service requests for workshop.
？ Prepare final report with list of replaced parts and time spent on service for accounting purposes
？ Management off:
？ Service planning / inhouse repair
？ Inspection of incoming products and preparation of corresponding papers
？ Preparation of routing papers for work to be performed in the facility
？ Control of work and quality to be performed in the facility
？ Organization of packing of outgoing products and information to accounting of costs of service
？ Assure all projects, quotations are created and followed to maximize possible order intake
？ Periodically check / reporting off:
？ Quality cost
？ Delivery performance
？ Warranty claims
Skills / Capabilities
？ Technical aptitude, with an Engineering qualification as well as experience in vacuum applications highly regarded
？ IT competent (SAP / Word / Excel / PowerPoint)
？ Advanced written and oral communication skills in Chinese and English. German is a pre
？ Ability to manage a team / leadership
？ Ability to work with people across all levels and backgrounds
？ Effective communication skills to build relationships
？ Willing to substantial travel within China as well as follow training courses in Germany
？ Good understanding of mechanical, electrical and electronic issues. Capable of reading electrical diagrams.
