For our German client, who is world-wide famous for its modern technologies in machinery industry, we are currently looking for a talent for the following position. Job location will be in Changshu(north to Suzhou), Jiangsu Province, where our German client owns a manufacturing company.

Plant Manager / Vice General Manager (常熟)

Job Objectives:

- Be responsible for an effective management of the whole company.

- Lead, manage and monitor the whole sales team in China to ensure the best performance of sales.

- Visit existing and potential customers frequently, maintain good relationship with such customers.

- Be responsible, in cooperation with the production manager, for managing, monitoring and optimizing the whole manufacturing process to ensure a proper, tidy and efficient production.

- Be responsible for cost control by supervising the purchasing and outsourcing effectively and strictly.

- Lead, manage and monitor the whole sales team in China to ensure the best performance of sales.

- Collect market intelligence, help the German Headquarters to set up/adjust relevant sales/marketing strategies, and be responsible for the implementation of such strategies.

- Visit main customers when necessary, maintain good relationship with such customers.

- Ensure a smooth and effective communication with the German Headquarters.

Qualifications:

- Age 32-45, based in Changshu/Suzhou or nearby, with Bachelor degree in machinery, business or related discipline.

- At least 8 years working experience with leading function in company, with experience in machinery industry preferred.

- Experienced in leading employees both in production and offices, with experience in managing smaller operations (20-30 people).

- Familiar with ERP-system.

- Excellent communication, organizational skills, good team leader.

- Work precisely, systematically and reliably.

- Adaptive to new technical process.

- Fluent in written & spoken English.
