MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
Handle Purchase Requisitions and sourcing requests timely, ensure FX site production and Shanghai office operate smoothly without short supply.
Choose proper purchasing strategy to negotiate with suppliers on price and other commercial terms, ensure products or services at optimum cost.
Implement category management practice locally, responsible for the Frame contract management.
Ensures transparency and compliance of purchasing process: RFI/RFQ, bidding summary...
Streamline purchasing process to increase synergies by bundling of PRs or set up of frame contracts to reduce low value orders and increase savings.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of major suppliers and develop the new qualified suppliers, make sure the desired service and goods are delivered and in line with Allnex guideline, e.g. EHS policy.
Act with integrity and self-discipline and be able to conduct the purchasing related training and internal alignment meeting with Finance, Controller & Legal.
Work within Allnex global purchasing network to obtain best possible purchasing results, including connection to category lead buyer.
Lead the capex project with concept of TCO model and ensure the project delivered within the schedule &budget.
Generate monthly reports, including saving report, supplier database maintenance, PO Summary and open PRs.
Support line Manager and act as back up for regional reporting and project coordination.
Coach and train the junior buyer.
Other tasks assigned by line manager.

JOB PROFILE

Education
Bachelor degree in engineering, or mechanical, or Business Administration or being equivalent
Experience
Minimum 5 -8 years successful experiences in procurement fields, preferably for indirect procurement (in a manufacturing environment).
Skills
Have good negotiation and cost analysis skills
Demonstrate excellent communication and problem solving skills
Demonstrate command of spoken and written English
Being able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure
Have experience of working with cross function team
Being a good team player with initiatives and a positive attitude
Understand customs documentation and shipping operations
