Objective of Job
Develop piece cost and tooling estimate for restraints products (seatbelts, airbags and steering wheel) for new programs and current program changes.
Control and manage changes within established targets.
Brief Task Description (A Job Description document must be completed prior to official employment activity.)
1. Develop restraints piece cost and tooling estimate
2, Construct and analyze manufacturing costs
3, Support supplier negotiations with buyers.
4, Plan, organize and prioritize multiple tasks within a defined time period.
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills, Competence etc.)
1, BS or MS in engineering.
2, 5+ years of working in restraints area, 3+ years in cost area.
3, Good understanding of cost structure, manufacturing processes and supply base capability.
4, Fluent in written and spoken English
