Certification Manager, China

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
This position is responsible for consolidating certification team of RINA (Shanghai) Quality and Technical Services Co Ltd, developing the RINA system and product certification business within China and achieving the business targets assigned by RINA China Country Manager.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Promoting RINA name and service to the potential clients in Certification and testing fields;
2. Visiting the customers or potential customers on the regular basis;
3. Identifying the new business opportunities, Pursuing and capturing new contracts; Negotiation of the contract terms;
4. Resolve the conflicts and complaints from the clients and Improve the relationship with the key accounts;
5. Review of the targets and results with top management and other teams;
6. Review of the year result and Proposal of the strategy to improve the company and personal performance based on the target and gap analysis;
7. Forecasting of marketing trend and assistance of setting up the realistic budget for the coming year;
8. Based on quality procedures and manuals to review whether all steps are properly taken for issuing certificate;
9. List and explain non-compliance to related parties and handle certification related enquiries, provide necessary support to other departments;
10. Keep study on relevant laws, standards and directives of testing & certification market surveillance, and provide related information to relevant parties;
11. Record any valued experience and coordinate with other certification bodies regarding technical and operational issues;
12. Seek the certification process optimization in the offices;
13. Deliver training as required;
14. Liaise with the competent Chinese authorities in order to obtain, maintain and manage accreditations
15. Other duties as assigned by company.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor degree, major in engineering related, etc;
2. At least 15 years related experience in certification and testing industry;
3. Fluent in Spoken & Written English
4. Good command of international & European Standard Directives (such as ISO, IEC, EN, VDE);
5. Good interpersonal and communication skills; Good business development and project management skill; Ability to make fast and proper decisions
6. Well organized and detail oriented, good problem solving skills;
7. Good teamwork spirit, ability to manage multiple tasks and able to work well under pressure
8. Critical thinking, active learning, and achievement oriented;
