Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with Master’s degree in Engineering and/or Business.
Should also be PMP/PMI Certified.
Competence area:
? Overall ME competence including process, dimensional, quality, financials, etc
? Plant lay-outs & process flow (Stamping, BIW, Paint, General Assembly)
? Understanding of tooling, equipment, logistics, conveyors, general services, etc
? Master timing and schedules
Activity Description / Output:
? Project timing: Definition & Control
? Project data (volumes, timing, product info): collecting and managing
? Responsibility of KPI of the project
? Budget, timing and spending definition and control
? New project evaluation including plant production capacity analysis, equipment investment, quality improvement, manufacturing cost, timing for business case
? Process feasibility studies and investment evaluations
? Suppliers equipment’s timing (design, construction and installation): monitoring and control
? Project Meeting: schedule, design, control, and follow-up
? Process documentation: managing
? Cooperate with JV to implement Fiat-Chrysler standards of manufacturing engineering and WCM concepts.
? Support plant for quality improvement and cost reduction activities
? Coordinate and follow-up on all open issues lists… ensure that all items are closed on time.
Technical Skills:
? Understanding of Plant layouts, bill of process, tooling & equipment, plant production & capacity charts.
? Project Management Certified
? Can lead & manage meetings efficiently & well
? Can drive the team to close issues in a timely manner.
? Very good analytical and problem solving skills.
? Capable to manage a multi-national team.
? Great communication skills (up, down, and across)
Language Skills:
English: Listening, Speaking, Reading & Writing Very Good
IT Skills:
Access and use AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite: Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Project, TCM, Codep, UG.
Organization:
Within Vehicle Manufacturing Engineering structure and report directly to Head of Manufacturing Engineering - Vehicle
Works with: ME Vehicle team, Platform team, VLM, E&D (MR Model Responsible, PR Project Responsible), Powertrain, Purchasing, ICT, Quality, Logistics, SCM, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Product, AME Process, Joint Venture, Suppliers (tooling, equipment, process, construction)
Work:
Flexibility, Team work application,
Work Experience required:
Minimum 10 years in the Manufacturing area within automobile or automobile components industry. Has managed at least (2) major projects.
