Responsibilities:

· Manages all accounting functions, including daily, monthly and annual end-closing; accounts payable and receivables

· Responsible for financial reporting, budget and management reporting, audit preparation, tax planning and compliance

· Ensure transaction processing accuracy, and reporting timeliness and proposes process efficiencies

· Assists the Finance Manager in liaison with Tax Officers, External and Internal Auditors, Bankers and government officials (including SAFE)

· Manages day-to-day cash flow activities

· Ensures a strong control environment for activities under their responsibility and compliance with control requirements

· Prepares SAP entries and reports, including but not limited to statutory filing of financial statements

· Provides end user SAP training (when needed) and be the contact point between End user and IT

· Maintains and monitors fixed asset register for the company

· Provides supervisory direction to a local Accounting Assistant

Requirements:

· Qualified Accountant and University graduate in Finance & Accounting or related disciplines

· 5 to 6 years relevant experience working in the finance and accounting functions, with at least 2 years audit experience, plus minimum 2 years commercial experience in multinational companies in the trading sector

· Good command of English and Mandarin

· Familiar with Microsoft office and SAP R/3

· Exposure to US GAAP and SOX compliance is a plus
