Position: Project Engineer
Department: Project and Engineering
Report Chain: directly report to Project Manager
Subsidiaries:
N/A
Responsibility: Follow up project related issue in terms of Design, specifications, procurement, and logistics (in/out), make sure project compleleted as per target.
Key Tasks:
1. Support the sales department and the project manager in the final phase before signing the contract;
2. Establish the internal order specification for the engines of sold project;
3. Initiate procurement for project equipment and control the progress;
4. Initiate the project related designing and control of progress;
5. Serve as a contact person in al technical matters of the project;
6. Assist the project manager and participate in the execution of all project phases;
7. Support the service department in the commissioning phase of the project.
Qualification:
1) Bachelor’s degree in engineering related subject.
2) At least 3 years’ project management experience in marine engine manufacturing.
3) Project management and ERP usage knowledge is a must.
4) Familiar with Maritime business and ship building.
5) Good knowledge on engine room equipment and systems is a plus.
6) Good knowledge of Wasilla engine performance vs. system requirements;
7) Familiar with engine’s automation system is preferred.
8) Can use English as working language.

瓦锡兰玉柴发动机有限公司由瓦锡兰集团与广西玉柴机器集团有限公司旗下子公司—玉柴船舶动力股份有限公司合资成立，公司成立于2013年5月23日，位于美丽的“百岛之市”—珠海。玉柴与瓦锡兰此次在中速柴油机领域“强强联合”，将共同建设中国高端中速机生产基地，打造中外先进柴油机技术和生产合作的成功典范。
公司主要生产瓦锡兰品牌的W20、W26和W32等系列中速船用发动机，功率覆盖800~9000千瓦，广泛应用于海洋工程、近海和远洋船舶以及特殊用途船舶，用作主机动力和辅助发电机组。公司于2013年5月28日启动厂房建设动工仪式，计划于2014年6月开始投产。
