Position: Project Manager
Department: Project and Engineering
Report Chain: directly report to Project and Engineering Manager
Subsidiaries:
-Project Engineer
Responsibility: Coordinate with sales, production and customers on all project related matters such as budget, delivery time, to achieve profitable project and increase customer satisfaction.
Key Tasks:
1. Support the sales department in the final phase before signing the contract
2. Prepare and maintain the Project Plan with relevant attachments
3. Execute the project according to the project plan to meet the sales contract's commitments
4. Report of Project's progress to the Project Owner
5. Communicate to the Project's stakeholders
6. Solve Project-related problems
7. Build good relationship with the customers
8. Support the after-sales department (services) after the vessel's handover.
9. Collect the "lessons learned" and archive official project documentation.
Qualification:
1) Bachelor’s degree in engineering related subject.
2) At least 5 years’ project management experience in marine engine manufacturing.
3) Project management and ERP usage knowledge is a must.
4) Familiar with Maritime business and ship building.
5) Good knowledge on engine room equipment and systems is a plus.
6) Good knowledge of Wartsila engine marine application (W32,W26,W20) is a plus.
7) Can use English as working language.
