POSITION SUMMARY
- Shipments & Customs activities control, to ensure the Trade compliance of the company
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- To ensure shipments & customs procedures are correct for the Trade Compliance of the company
- To monitor on the customs brokers & freight forwarders to ensure Trade Compliance of the company
- Prepare customs documents to meet the necessary shipping requirements
- Contact customs offices to resolve any issues concerned in shipments
- Assist in shipments of Trade shows & related shipments to ensure materials can arrive at exhibition site on time
- Assist in procurements of materials based on ad hoc issues from engineers
- To monitor for all shipments inbound & outbound of China to ensure no customs issue that will delay deliveries
- Assist on ad hoc problems for customs issues outside China
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor degree in business management, logistics & supply chain management or related subjects
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
- 1~3 years experiences in international companies for logistics field or supply chain management
KEY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABBILITIES REQUIRED
- Fluent written & speaking English
- Excellent written & speaking of Putonghua
- Able to think logical & work independently
- Knowledge & experience in customs clearance preferred
- Knowledge & experience in logistics & supply chain management is preferred
- Able to work overtime & absorb ad hoc projects
- Computer skills on MS Power Point, MS Excel & Word
- Knowledge on the Free Trade Zone, 3-C certificates, duty exemption in China, temporary import approval customs knowledge is needed for this job.
