Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Directs manufacturing, engineering and operating activities toward the accomplishment of production objectives.
2) Develops and establishes manufacturing and engineering department operating policies.
3) Defines and recommends strategic manufacturing and engineering objectives; develops specific short and long range plans and programs together with supporting budget requests.
4) Coordinates and collaborates with other departments of the corporation in establishing and carrying out responsibilities.
5) Formulates and installs standard manufacturing and engineering practices based on comparative studies of methods, costs and production figures.
6) Reviews manufacturing and engineering operations and maintains a project schedule, which reflects current project status.
7) Manages and directs departmental manufacturing and engineering operations.
8) Assists in accumulates information and prepares feasibility studies to justify purchase or building of equipment required for new manufacturing and engineering methods.
9) Assists in carrying out production objectives, at lowest cost, consistent with the organizations quality requirements.
10) Coordinates departmental production, production control, engineering, maintenance and other related operations.
11) Develops methods of re-engineering organization to improve productivity and efficiency of overall manufacturing and engineering operations.
12) Investigates ways to support continuous improvement of all aspects of manufacturing operations.

Job Requirements

1) Degree qualified in either Electronic or Telecom. engineering, or with equivalent experience, with at 5 years in same level management level position
2) This is normally required by 5 years relevant work experience LCD ,TP or Parts repair services function in global telecomm. manufacturing companies with increasing responsibilities in multi-product company
3) Excellent communication and project management skills
4) Experience dealing with complex customer problems in high-pressure environment
5) Ability to set clear goals and implement performance management effectively
6) Experience managing multiple teams in mission critical environment and various culture
7) Cost sensitivity and change adaptability
8) Ability to work under pressure and keep calm in a crisis
9) Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
10) Fluent in both English and Mandarin
