Financial close support and control
Prepare and provide monthly financial close and reporting calendar and guidance to APAC finance
Manage month end close activities and reporting ensuring all the closing and reporting requirements and schedules are met.

Consolidate and review financial performance. This includes analyse monthly actual versus forecast and prior year with good commentary of variances for management review and decision making
Ensure full reconciliation of financials between accounting and hyperion (both HFM and HPT)

Business Planning and Analysis
Monitor and review daily sales report and weekly flash with good commentary of variances for management review and decision making
Consolidate and review monthly forecast and quarterly business review package. This includes gathering and consolidating information such as CAPEX, price increase, finished good inflation; properly review and follow up with country for discrepancies and issues and properly load the information into hyperion
Prepare, review and load actual and forecast for regional and emerging markets
Co-ordinate with Regional team in the preparation of presentation deck for monthly business review
Develop tools for tracking and forecasting performance. This includes sales by channel and product family; advertising and promotional spend by country, project and business segment and other ad hoc requests.

Key super hyperion user
Develop, motivate, train the finance team to ensure value added quality work and knowledge sharing
Meeting the needs of key customer, monitor and KPI’s and developments.
Be an active member of the APAC Finance Team as required, providing insight and supporting APAC projects and Global initiatives.
Share best practices to drive improved performance

Cross Functional Expertise
Identify and advocate synergies across the finance function (i.e. standardized reports) and drive efficiency.
Coordinate month end, Estimates and strategy activities with other finance functions and support other functions with financial compliance (e.g. SOX, Audit).
Assist the overall finance team with financial duties when required (e.g. Income tax projections, hedging, GM Analysis, legal entity setup).
Support the implementation of Finance information technologies

Qualifications
University degree in finance and accounting;
6 years working experience in business planning and analysis in multinational company
Solid hands-on and technical experience in accounting and taxation is a must
Regional Asia Pacific experience in US based MNC
Proficiency in English - written and oral
Exposure and good knowledge of ERP, hyperion and excel and hyperion experience is a MUST
Experience in internal control review and SOX implementation
