GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

This position oversees clinical quality, performance and education for Greater China. The position is responsible for the tracking, creation and implementation of programs to improve quality of care and patient outcomes with oversight of training, education, project management and support for the Country’s clinical services team. Provides trends, data analysis and interprets findings related to outcomes and education to the Greater China Senior executive team. Develops clinical quality improvement programs to ensure continuous quality improvement. Provide leadership on external communication to form and strengthen relationships with the broader dialysis and nephrology community in Greater China.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Yes

Provide leadership to clinical specialists in all DaVita’s ventures throughout Greater China.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive.

？ Responsibility and accountability for clinical performance outcomes in Greater China, working in partnership with the Country President and Vice President.
？ Promoting physician and Key opinion leader satisfaction. Creating systems and incentives that attract and retain high quality physicians as well as generating patient referral to DaVita Centers. Ensuring DaVita China brand is recognized as the Provider of Choice for service excellence and clinical outcome.
？ Creating and monitoring clinical staff development plans to ensure successful recruitment and retention of key clinical leadership.
？ Lead the development of strategic direction for Clinical Services and facilitate programs to achieve desired outcomes. Lead initiatives in developing and encouraging clinical research.
？ Establishing and overseeing patient and service quality, performance improvement, and the implementation of goals and objectives of clinical services and individual Centers.
？ Fostering an approach to patient care among the clinical staff that ensures the most desirable outcomes of care and patient satisfaction.
？ Fostering the continuing development, implementation, and utilization of medical informatics that focus on patient safety, enhancing the practice of medicine, and promoting a uniform standard of care.
？ Facilitate regular clinical standards & performance reviews with Asia Pacific leadership.
？ Ensure new venture clinics are brought up to DaVita quality standards rapidly.
？ Ensure Country Clinical Services structure allows for the achievement of all key metrics.
？ Provide support for acquisitions, assisting with due diligence and integration.
？ Develop and implement training and oversee implementation of clinical policies and procedures programs in the facilities.
？ Supervise CNO/Director of Clinical Services and all clinical specialty divisions inclusive of outpatient and inpatient departments as well as health educations.
？ Works in partnership with other corporate departments such as the USA office of the CMO, Pharmacy and Therapeutics, quality Management and Clinical Education to analyze and develop relevant programs and training tools.
