Background
Our client is a licensed brokerage company, registered and regulated in United Kingdom. The firm offers an online trading platform where clients can trade Forex, Precious metals and other commodities.
Our client now sees growth opportunities in China and is setting up an office in Shanghai. In order to achieve its target, our client wishes to hire a Head of sales.
The Role
Based in Shanghai, and reporting directly to the Headquarters in Europe, the Appointee will be responsible for:
- Hiring, training and leading a winning sales and customer support team
- Planning and executing sales strategies to increase sales revenue
- Providing ideas and feedback for the development of marketing campaigns
- Opening up sales channel via Introducing Brokers, White Label and other partnership programs.
- budgeting and cost control for the overall Chinese operations.
- complying with all business policies and procedures of the company
- achieving and exceeding sales targets
Profile
- Mandarin: Mother tongue; Cantonese would be considered an advantage.
- English language written and spoken fluently.
- very good knowledge of financial markets, and particularly Forex and precious metal.
- at least 4 years of sales experience with successful track record, of which at least 2 years leading a team
- extensive network of IBs and WLPs within the industry and existing client portfolio to tap on
- very good knowledge of Chinese market tissue for Forex and other OTC products
- very good knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Office suite
- good knowledge of Metatrader 4 platform
- strong customer orientation, excellent business negotiating skills in client facing opportunities
- strong organizational, analytical and leadership skills, enthusiastic, proactive and entrepreneurial
