Background

The Accor Hotel Group, founded in France, is a multinational hotel management company managing over 4,000 hotels globally under its famous brands including Sofitel,Pullman, M Gallery, Grand Mercure, Novotel, Mercure and Ibis.

Allegiance Business Consulting Co., Ltd. is an Accor owned company that specializes in the running and maintaining of Accor’s own hotel loyalty program Accor Advantage Plus, an exclusive membership which entitles members to benefits when staying and dining in Accor hotels.

Traditionally focusing on customer acquisition through telemarketing,Allegiance is looking to establish a new independent business unit to explore corporate and partnership sales opportunities for the Accor Advantage Plus product. The Corporate Sales Director is the senior role within the new business unit and has Greater China responsibilities in developing and executing the unit’s strategy, structure and operations.

Reports to: General Manager–Greater China

Location: Greater China Regional Office, Shanghai

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the research, development and execution of the corporate sales business unit’s strategy, structure and operations.
2. Identify and define customer segments,propositions and pricing models.
3.Define the business units staffing and support needs and structure, recruit, train and lead team members to find/pitch new business and achieve sales targets.
4. Negotiate, draft and review related commercial contracts.
5. Define and develop reporting on sales pipeline and performance KPI’s.
6. Manage and be accountable for the business unit’s financial budget, P&L and forecasting.
7. As a member of the China Executive Team have a shared responsibility for the companies consolidated
Greater China financial performance.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor Degree.
2. 8+ years working experience, including 3+ years in a senior management role in a multinational company with sales responsibility.
3. Experienced in budget management, contract negotiation and drafting, financial reporting and modeling.
4. Highly intelligent, self-motivated and with excellent sales and market sense.
5. Dynamic networker and is able to build lasting relationships with clients. Is always able to find and communicate a win-win.
6. Excellent strategy, planning and execution skills. Is able to catch every opportunity and enjoys taking a hands-on approach.
7. Outstanding communication skills both in Mandarin and English.
8. Is able to travel domestically for business and can be flexible with working hours as required.
