Sandvik in Shanghai/Wuxi/Taipei is seeking for a Distribution Manager
Sandvik Hyperion is a world-leading company in the development and production of synthetic diamond and Cubic Boron Nitride products for such industrial applications as machining, oil and gas drilling, grinding, rock drilling and wire drawing. The head office and largest production unit is located in Worthington, Ohio in the US; another unit is in Florida. The company has a strong global presence, with sales equally distributed between the Americas, Europe and Asia. We are a division of 150 year old global industrial group Sandvik.
The position would directly report to Great China Sales Manager, below please refer to the job description:
Key performance areas:
·Lead the team to identify and develop new distributors in alignment with Sandvik Hyperion distributor certification criteria and compliance policy
·Lead the team to manage existing distributors incl. annual target setting for Sales, Profit, BR, A/R and A&S , monthly sales report, monthly sales forecast, annual distributor evaluation
·Develop and execute programs to drive channel growth and forecasting for indirect channel segment in Greater China
·Lead the team to assist distributors in joint customer visit and provide the regular technical support and product/application knowledge training to distributors.
·Provide constant communication to keep Channel Partners informed of any and all issues.
·Coordinate Pricing guidelines and structure for each distributor
·Ensure Channel commitment to the Sandvik Hyperion
·Coordinate with Global Sales Process, develop strategies for groups of partners, create and manage campaign plans, and lead in the execution of the channel strategy
·Create a culture of highest integrity and compliance within indirect channels
·Ensure global compliance practices are followed
·Use the system (where available) as main communication tool between sales force, customer service and sales management
·Visit trade shows and customer training seminars
Your profile:
·Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or related major with good knowledge of machining.
·At least 5 years’ direct sales and distributor sales experience in related business to business industry
·At least 2-3 years’ sales management experience in the direct sales and distributor sales in related business to business industry
·Fluent Mandarin and English skills in in both verbal and written skills.
·Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software, and SMS software
·Business/customer –oriented, with good insight into, and understanding of sales and marketing
·Able to work independently and willing to take responsibility
·Good communications skills
·Good team player, proactive, self-motivated

·Travel frequency : >50%
