Job Purpose:
This position is the maternity cover to Marketing &Communications Manager of ACCA Shanghai, with a fixed contract of two years.
The job of Marketing & Communications Manager of ACCA Shanghai is responsible for establishing solid relationships between ACCA and its various stakeholders, which include the media, government officials, regulatory bodies, and most of all ACCA members, in the East China region.
He/she plays an active role in gaining and maintaining the Organisations public image with the goal of generating awareness of ACCA, the global body for professional accountants, which delivers public value and encourages research that helps to further the science of accountancy.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing
. Responsible for promoting ACCA R&I series, and organising Accountancy Futures Forum every year.
. Ensure key corporate messages and CI are timely communicated to all internal staff

Member Services
. Engage senior members through various member events, including professional networking, senior members gathering and so on
. Profile senior members through various media channel
. Organise regular steering committee meetings and prepare the meeting agenda
. Organise member professional networking events for all members in central China region. Explore online course providers for members all around central region.
. Initiate new cooperation with various stakeholders in related industries to enrich members continuous education and experience with ACCA.
. Plan and organise annual conference

Key Metrics (financial and/or non-financial):

The metrics for the role will be established at the start of each year but will include targets for increased member quantity and market recognition.

. Meet the target of member conversion of central China region
. Market recognition
. Establish and maintain close relationship partner organisations in cities of the region including branches of CICPA and regional business associations, and jointly organise events with them to strengthen ACCAs influence
