Designer

Job Description

European retailer is looking for a designer focused on export business. The candidate will be located in Shanghai in the sourcing office and will report directly to the business development manager of lingerie dept.

His main responsibility is as follows, support and coordinate the workflow and priorities settled by the business development manager.

Responsibilities include:

• Based on the original sample, description given by designer, working out the technical sheet with more details like sketch of styling, measurement, workmanship requirement, fabric composition, etc. And pass to merchandiser for new development.
• Capable to change the print CAD and work out the ai file for print, change the sketch as the request of HQ designer
• In the non-development season, assist merchandisers for the basic follow-up jobs, like filing, update order system, parcel delivery, sample checking, etc.

Skills & Experience

Required Experience/skills:

• Previous experience in trading company or buying office
• Familiar with photo shop, adobe Illustrator or other graphic software.
• Preferable to know the lingerie, swimwear and homewear products
• Graduating from university in the major of design, or apparel industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English (oral & written)
• Mastering Reporting tools (Excel, Word, PP, etc..)
