Reporting directly to: Senior Manager, Design & Space Manager (in Denmark)



Short Description: You will take responsibility for office construction projects as the central coordinator and driver from identifying the office location and running the tendering process with the real estate broker until the office can be handed over to the business stakeholder. You will maintain the overview and collaborate with the interior architect and vendors to achieve excellent office solutions. There is a strong focus on growth in Asia with plans for new offices in different locations in the region. You will be part of the Global Design & Space Management Team located in Billund and Shanghai.

Design & Space Management in LEGO Corp. Facility is providing project management and design solutions in connection to establishing new sites, new buildings, Sales and Procurement offices and Design Labs. Focus areas are project management, planning, Space Management, Design and building maintenance/optimization.


Design & Space Management is also responsible for developing new interior concepts including space management, new furniture and graphic branding.


Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage projects for establishing new LEGO offices and relocation projects
  
• Translate strategies and business requirements into a strong project plan and actions
  
• Analyze requirements, plan, allocate resources and keep focus on deadlines, quality and budget
  
• Drive a project team of domain professionals and experienced design experts
  
• Ensure good team work within the project team
  
• Manage internal stakeholders and external vendors effectively
  
• Negotiate with vendors for optimal solutions
  ? Provide input for process specifications
  
• Maintain proper documentation
  
• Participate in developing and improving process and guidelines
  
• Handle and participate in small and large scale projects locally and regionally

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in business administration or other relevant field
  
• 7+ years working experience in project management of office establishment and/or construction
  
• Experience covering estate/property management and lease negotiation
  
• Background from international companies
  
• Proven track record with cross functional project management in a multinational environment
  
• Sound business understanding
  
• Good team player with humble attitude
  
• Have "the guts" to challenge stakeholders when necessary
  
• Driven to deliver high quality solutions
  
• Well organized and structured with excellent time management skills
  
• Positive to travel, mainly in Asia
  
• "Culturally open" and comfortable in an international work environment
  
• Passionate and committed
  
• Extroverted and skilled in networking and building good relationships
  
• Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written in addition to Mandarin
